According to Twitter’s global PR team, Beyonce’s baby reveal gave Twitter a record bump of 8,868 tweets per second. That means that Beyonce’s VMA moment received more mentions per second than the Women’s World Cup, Japan’s New Year or Osama bin Laden’s death.

Google+ and Facebook Roll Out Google Chrome Extensions
On Wednesday Google released the Google +1 Button extension allowing you to +1 a web page anywhere on the web. Browsers now no longer have to rely on a site to implement the +1 Button. Facebook followed shortly after as they rolled out their Like Button extension, that according to Google is indeed built by Facebook itself.

Facebook Music Service Coming At F8
Facebook has bandied a variety of music-related ideas around over the years and in 2008 it was poised to launch a streaming music of some sort in collaboration with a single music company such as Lala. Now at F8 there is going to be an announcement about their new music service.
